Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the BookMyGround Customer App, Owner App, and Admin Panel (together, the "Platform"), operated by [Legal Entity Name] ("BookMyGround", "we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or using the Platform, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.

1. What BookMyGround Is

BookMyGround is a booking platform that connects customers with independent sports ground owners. We provide the technology to discover grounds, check availability, pay an advance online, and manage bookings and tournaments. Ground owners are independent businesses, not employees or agents of BookMyGround. We do not own, operate, or manage any ground listed on the Platform.

2. Eligibility and Accounts

You must provide accurate information when creating an account and are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Accounts may be created as a "customer" or an "owner"; a new owner account requires admin approval (see Section 5) before it can list grounds.

3. Bookings and Payments

  • A booking is confirmed only once the advance payment (a percentage of the total booking amount, shown to you before payment, typically 20%) is successfully processed through our payment partner, Razorpay.
  • The remaining balance is payable directly to the ground owner at the venue, in cash or by whatever method the owner accepts.
  • Prices, slot availability, and ground details are set by the ground owner and shown to you before you pay. The platform commission charged to owners is calculated on the full booking amount, not just the advance.
  • All amounts are shown and charged in Indian Rupees (₹).
  • We do not store your card, UPI, or bank account details; Razorpay processes payments directly under its own security standards.

4. Cancellations and Refunds

See our Refund & Cancellation Policy for full details. In summary: you may cancel a confirmed booking before its start time, which frees the slot, but the advance already paid is not automatically refunded. Refund requests are reviewed manually by our team on a case-by-case basis.

5. Ground and Tournament Listings (Owners)

  • A new owner account remains in "Pending Approval" until reviewed by our admin team, and each ground and tournament an owner submits is independently reviewed before it becomes visible to customers.
  • We may reject a submission that is inaccurate, misleading, or unsafe, with a reason shown to the owner.
  • Owners are responsible for keeping their ground's details — price, availability, amenities, photos, and contact information — accurate and up to date. Misrepresenting a ground may result in its removal and, in serious or repeated cases, account suspension.
  • Owners are solely responsible for the physical condition of their ground, on-site amenities, safety, and in-person conduct at the venue.

6. Coupons, Referrals, and Wallet

Coupons, referral rewards, and wallet balances are offered at our discretion and may be changed, capped, or withdrawn at any time. Referral rewards are credited only once a referred friend completes their first successful booking. A wallet balance, where credited, is currently for record-keeping within the app and is not redeemable as payment at checkout. Attempting to abuse these programs (for example, self-referral or use of fake accounts) may result in forfeiture of rewards and, in serious cases, account suspension.

7. Reviews

Customers may leave one review per completed booking. Reviews must be honest and based on your own experience at the venue. We reserve the right to remove reviews that are abusive, fraudulent, defamatory, or otherwise violate these Terms.

8. Tournaments

Ground owners may host tournaments through the Platform, subject to the same admin-approval process as grounds. Where a tournament charges an entry fee, it is collected through BookMyGround the same way booking advances are. Prize money, fixtures, and on-ground logistics for a tournament are the responsibility of the hosting owner, not BookMyGround.

9. Account Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or disable an account that violates these Terms, engages in fraud or abuse of the Platform's coupon/referral systems, or provides false information. You may delete your own account at any time — see our Account Deletion Policy.

10. Intellectual Property

The BookMyGround name, logo, and app content (excluding ground-specific content submitted by owners and reviews submitted by customers) are the property of [Legal Entity Name]. You may not copy, modify, or distribute them without our written permission.

11. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

The Platform is provided "as is." BookMyGround facilitates bookings between customers and independent ground owners; we do not guarantee the accuracy of listings beyond our approval review, nor the condition, safety, or availability of any venue. To the fullest extent permitted by law, BookMyGround and its team are not liable for injuries, property damage, financial loss, or disputes arising from your use of a booked ground or interaction with a ground owner or another user. Nothing in this section limits liability that cannot be excluded under applicable Indian law.

12. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold BookMyGround harmless from any claim, loss, or damage arising from your violation of these Terms, misuse of the Platform, or violation of any law or third-party right.

13. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of [City, State], India.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms as the Platform evolves. Material changes will be reflected here with a new effective date. Continued use of the Platform after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
